ABOUT
Phileo International Ministry
One step. One mile. One changed heart.
Our vision is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people in every country of the world. It is our desire to do this as quickly as possible, as clearly as possible, as irresistibly as possible to the glory of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our purpose is to glorify God in all the earth by crossing cultural boundaries if necessary to help people come to Christ, grow in Christ and change their life with Christ.
One step: Taking a step foward and serving the needs of those in the Philadelphia region, expanding throughout the city and country.
One mile: Taking that extra mile and serving the needs of those across the boarders of the USA and going to the ends of the earth .
One changed heart: The results are rewarding. With the help of God both here in the USA and in other countries people’s hearts can be changed for the glory of God.
MINISTRY VALUES
1) Ministry-Minded
In order to be used of God fully in the Ministry, we must continue to grow spiritually by being in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers, “so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10).
2) Integrity
We recognize the need for strict honesty in our dealings with co-workers, partners, and others.”In all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us” (Titus 2:7-8).
3) Humility
All credit and praise for success is rightly given to God. We properly recognize that this is His work and we are vessels of His power and purpose. “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves” (Philippians 2:3).
4) Excellence
The call of God requires a commitment to high standards. All that we do together must pass this test. “Now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you whatever you ask, for all my people in the city know that you are a woman of excellence” (Ruth 3:11).
5) Initiative
The responsibility to excel lies on all of us individually. We must be willing to communicate our ideas, dreams, and concerns even at risk of possible professional embarrassment. “You yourselves know the thing which took place throughout all Judea, starting from Galilee, after the baptism which John proclaimed” (Acts 10:37).
6) Accountability
Just as in our physical body, our partnership with the Ministry requires interdependence, respect, and inspection to perform our best. “Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God” (Romans 3:19).
